Terms of Service

1. Agreement & Parties

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between MOVO-X Pte. Ltd. (“MOVO-X”, “we”, “us”) and the clinic, hospital, or healthcare group (“Customer”, “you”) accessing or using the MOVO-X Singapore platform at singapore.movo-x.com.

By activating your MOVO-X Singapore subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.

2. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

For disputes involving amounts below SGD 20,000, the parties will first attempt mediation through the Singapore Mediation Centre before initiating court proceedings.

3. Subscription & Pricing

  • All subscriptions are denominated and invoiced in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance on the subscription anniversary date.
  • Payment methods: PayNow (UEN-based), NETS, Visa, Mastercard, and GIRO/direct debit for clinic operators.
  • Setup fees are non-refundable once hardware has been shipped or software provisioning has commenced.
  • Prices may be revised with 30 days' written notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

4. Service Levels

Service level commitments are as follows:

Uptime is measured monthly, excluding scheduled maintenance (communicated 48 hours in advance).

5. PDPA SG Obligations

As a Customer, you are the data controller for your patients' personal data. You agree to:

  • Maintain a registered Data Protection Officer (DPO) as required by PDPA SG for healthcare organisations
  • Obtain valid patient consent before enabling NEHR integration or SingPass Face Verification
  • Comply with all PDPA SG 2012 obligations including consent, notification, access, and correction
  • Notify MOVO-X within 24 hours of discovering a suspected data breach affecting MOVO-X-processed data
  • Not process patient data through MOVO-X for any purpose beyond direct patient care and facility administration

6. Acceptable Use

MOVO-X Singapore is licensed for use by MOH-licensed healthcare providers in Singapore. You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, or white-label the platform without written consent
  • Use MOVO-X for any purpose that violates Singapore law or MOH regulations
  • Attempt to circumvent PDPA SG consent mechanisms built into the platform
  • Access or attempt to access patient data beyond your licensed facility scope

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, MOVO-X's total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amounts paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. MOVO-X is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including loss of revenue or loss of patient data caused by factors outside our reasonable control.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice. MOVO-X may terminate immediately if you breach PDPA SG obligations, engage in prohibited use, or fail to make payment after a 14-day cure period.

Upon termination, we will provide a data export in CSV format within 30 days, after which your data will be securely deleted per our retention schedule.

9. Privacy

Our collection and processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
